Roulette Nation Review

About Roulette Nation

Roulette Nation is part of the offering by Challenge Jackpot TV, part of the Virgin Media Group of companies. Their live TV show is shown on Virgin Media chanel 140, and Sky chanel 860; and is also available live online via streaming. The games can be played either online or via the phone. The Live TV show is available from 6pm in the evening until 4am in the morning with a live presenter. The website also contains a variety of other playable games such as Blackjack, Slots, and Poker. However, the big flaw with Roulette Nation is it's lack of realism. Whereas most live casino shows are either set in a live casino, or use real roulette wheels, Roulette Nation is entirely computer controlled, and it shows.

Signing Up

Roulette Nation has a fairly straightforward signing up process, you enter your usual details (name, age, address, e-mail, etc), and your credit card details. This annoyed me as I wanted to try out the free play option before starting on the real money games, and I am not in the habit of giving out my card details to any company no matter how reputable they may be if they do not need it. Once you've entered your card details, the site keeps trying to push to to deposit credits, although a free-play option is available. One of my worries about entering card details when trying out free play is it is very easy to suddenly switch and empty your bank account, therefore the site looses marks for this.

Playing The Games

As mentioned earlier, the only way of playing the live games are either by telephone or the console provided on the webiste – and this is where the site suddenly shows its flaws. Whereas all other live TV roulette games or streaming casinos use a real roulette wheel so you know the results are genuine, Roulette Nation doesn't. There's a computer graphic spinning wheel, not a real one. Big points loss there! In essence, you're still playing against a computer, not a real, live casino wheel. This means that, for me, the game looses much of its gloss as I may as well be playing an online casino and asking a friend to provide inane commentart. Let's face it, the reason you play live roulette is because its, well, live! The fake wheel somehow takes away from that.

Features And Bonuses

There are a great many games on the site, all computer-controlled, and none really 'live'. Also, the Roulette Nation channel itself is devoid of many offers, and the VIP casino section is depressingly sparse. Having said that, the flash games themselves are numerous, and a instant payout is available. Ultimately, though, Roulette Nation fails to deliver.

Conclusion and Score

Roulette Nation
Roulette Nation is a nice offering, but the lack of a real casino wheel takes away much of the attractiom offered by live casinos. However, the wide variety of games on the website just keep Roulette Nation in contention with the other sites. Would it really be so difficult to have a real wheel though?
